Beauty With Purpose Takes Centre Stage at Dublin Multicultural Event

Contestants from several countries gathered in Dublin for a multicultural pageant that combined eu news now cultural celebration with an educational message about drug prevention. Twenty-four women from seven countries participated in the programme, which was attended by approximately 450 guests at the Church of Scientology & Community Centre. Organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd. and sponsored by Broccoli Care Ltd., the programme was developed in collaboration with The Truth About Drugs Ireland. Drug education formed an important part of the event, with guided exhibition tours introducing visitors to information about commonly used drugs. Many of the contestants studied Truth About Drugs materials in advance, and several completed the full series of fourteen online courses. Mayor of South Dublin Cllr. Francis Timmons addressed the audience and highlighted the value of cultural diversity, education and prevention. The afternoon also included Irish, Indian and Indonesian dance performances, reflecting the international character of the gathering. Niveditha Vudayagiri, a software engineer with a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, was crowned Miss Cross Continent 2026. The first runner-up title went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina, followed by Yuki Yuliatin as second runner-up. The event demonstrated how multicultural celebrations can also provide a platform for education, responsibility and positive community engagement.
